FEMA recovery center opens in Pulaski Co. for tornado victims
The center in Somerset will assist Kentuckians impacted by the May 16 tornado
PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center is now open in Pulaski County to provide in-person support for those impacted by recent severe weather.
The center is specifically assisting Kentuckians affected by the deadly and historic tornado that struck on May 16.
The FEMA site is located at the Center for Rural Development on Highway 27 in Somerset. It’s open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Officials encourage all those affected to apply for assistance as soon as possible. After applying, individuals will need to provide information including a phone number, address, list of damages and losses, and other details.
