FEMA in Johnson Co.
FLAT GAP, Ky. (WTVQ) – FEMA will be in Johnson Co. Monday after devastating flash flooding a week ago.
Four people died in that flash flooding, and several homes and cars were destroyed. The National Guard was called in to assist the county with search and rescue.
Lieutenant Governor Crit Luallen toured the area last week. She said FEMA’s first action will be to assess the damage and then see what national assistance is available for the affected areas.
