FEMA Disaster Recovery Center opening today in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – FEMA is launching a Disaster Recovery Center in Lexington Thursday to aid individuals in recovering from the severe weather events of April 2nd, which encompassed straight-line winds, tornadoes, and landslides.

The center will offer assistance with applications for federal aid, which may include funding for essential home repairs and other uninsured, disaster-related needs. Located on Cisco Road, the center will operate Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM, with additional hours on Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM.
