FCPS: Superintendent candidates to hold meet & greet at Dunbar High School
The search committee says they want as much input from the community as possible. They are asking for anyone who has an opinion to share it through their website or in person at a series of meetings and community forums. Two of the those forums will be held this week to allow the community to meet the candidates, Emmanuel Caulk and Terri Breeden.
Caulk is currently the superintendent of the Portland Public Schools in Maine. Caulk and his wife will be in town Tuesday and Wednesday. They will be available to meet and greet the community at a public reception at Dunbar High School from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Wednesday Caulk will meet with eight focus groups representing students, families, staff, and the community at large, who will report their observations to the school board. There will also be a public forum in the auditorium at the board office on Main Street at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Terri Breeden is currently the Assistant Superintendent of the Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia. Her reception will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at Dunbar High School. Breeden’s public forum will be held on Friday at 6 p.m.
