FCPS health clinics modify schedules while buildings are closed

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – All nine HealthFirst Bluegrass school-based clinics in Fayette County Public Schools are open through Friday Aug. 21 as families prepare for the start of the 2020-21 academic year.

Beginning Monday Aug. 24, the clinics at Arlington, Booker T. Washington, and Mary Todd elementaries will be closed for in-person services as long as FCPS is operating with Non-Traditional Instruction or virtual learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Healthy Kids Clinics offer telehealth (virtual) visits via phone or video and face-to-face visits. Services include well-child checkups, sports physicals, vaccines, sick visits, therapy, medication management, and oral health screenings (dental). Call any clinic site or (859) 288-2425 for more information or an appointment time.

To ensure the safest experience for patients and families, please also call the clinic before arriving for check-in instructions.

Other HealthFirst locations offer virtual and in-person visits, too. Existing patients can call (859) 288-2425 for an appointment at one of these locations.
