FCPS calls another snow day for Tuesday amid ongoing weather concerns

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Fayette County Public Schools has announced another snow day for Tuesday, Feb. 3, as winter weather and road conditions continue to impact the area.

District officials say all classes will be canceled for the day. A decision on whether afternoon and evening activities will move forward is still pending.

Families are encouraged to check FCPS.net/weather for the district’s weather guidelines and future updates.

So far this winter, FCPS has already used four nontraditional instruction (NTI) days on Jan. 26, 27, 28 and 29. Tuesday will mark the sixth snow day of the season, following closures on Dec. 2, Dec. 12, Dec. 15, Jan. 30, Feb. 2 and now Feb. 3.
