Fayette seven-day COVID average at highest level in two weeks
Rate climbs to 69 after getting as low as 53
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Fayette County’s seven-day moving COVID case average is at its highest level in more than two weeks.
According to the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department’s Tuesday report, the county recorded 153 new cases Saturday through Monday, raising the seven-day moving average to 69. It climbed back above 60 late last week and has continued up.
The county now has registered 51,640 cases.
The number of residents lost to COVID-related causes is at 421, the department said.
