Fayette reports four more COVID-related deaths
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Although new COVID cases in Fayette County continue to decline, four new deaths are a reminder the virus still is impacting the community.
According to the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department’s Monday morning report, the county recorded 96 new cases Friday, lowering the seven-day moving average from 114 to 104. The total number of cases in the county rose to 49,190.
But the county also reported four more deaths — two from September and two from this month — bringing the number of residents lost to COVID-related causes to 368.
