Fayette Inmate leaves for doctor’s visit; doesn’t return

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Fayette County jail in Lexington is looking for an inmate who reportedly didn’t return from a doctor’s visit.

The jail says James Gregory left at 1:00p.m. Tuesday on a court-ordered medical pass. He was supposed to return by 4:00p.m.

Investigators say Gregory was in jail on burglary charges and for driving on a suspended or revoked license. The jail says a warrant for escape has been issued. Anyone with information on Gregory is asked to contact Lexington police.
