Fayette County Health Department Conducting Survey

The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department will conduct a door-to-door survey Oct. 24-26 to collect information on the community’s knowledge and awareness of health and home hazards.

The survey is part of the Healthy Homes and Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control grant awarded to the Kentucky Department for Public Health this year from the U.S. Department for Housing and Urban Development.

The Health Department says survey teams will ask questions from a one-page questionnaire, which takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. No identifying information will be collected. Approximately 210 houses will be visited, and any adult in the household can complete the survey.
