Fayette County Farm Bureau receives gold star of excellence

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Fayette County Farm Bureau was recognized for its achievements this year during an annual meeting in Louisville.

The bureau’s Young Farmer Program helped it secure the 2019 Gold Star Award of Excellence.

The award honors a county’s Young Farmer Committee for its active participation in Farm Bureau leadership development programs, state competitions, and educational or promotional initiatives.
