Fayette County Coroner seeks dental records to identify skeletal remains found at Masterson Station Park

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Fayette County Coroner’s Office is asking for help from the public and medical professionals to identify skeletal remains recently discovered in Lexington.

According to a release from the Coroner’s Office, the remains were found on October 25, 2025, in a wooded area of Masterson Station Park off Leestown Road. Investigators have presumptively identified the deceased as 65-year-old Jacqueline Kerry Heyman, born August 30, 1960.

Officials say Heyman had extensive dental restoration work, which could help confirm her identity. They are asking any dentists, oral surgeons, orthodontists, or physicians who may have treated her to contact the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.

“The identification of unidentified remains is a vital part of our mission to provide families the knowledge of their loved one’s death,” the office said in the release, adding that all information will remain confidential and be used only for identification purposes.
