Fayette Co. Public Schools making up 4 instructional days
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Fayette County Public Schools announced students will have to make up four instructional days due to school cancellations.
As of March 4, the instructional calendar has been updated to show students will now be going to school on March 18, April 8, May 25, and May 26.
These days were supposed to be days off, but due to multiple snow days, will now become instructional days.
District spokeswoman Lisa Deffendall said the last day of school will now be May 26. Graduation dates for High School are not set until Mid-Spring, after the threat of bad weather has passed.
