Father To Fugitive Son: “Come Home”
The father of a Lexington fugitive said he wants his son to come home.
John Buckley IV left his rape trial in Lexington last week and then took off his ankle bracelet.
Authorities call him "dangerous" and believe he might be in Colorado Springs where he has relatives, including his father.
His father said people have the wrong idea about his son because of the charges.
"The monster that’s been presented is not the only side of my son, if that’s what my son did," said John Buckley III. "One, my son is not a monster. My son’s a loving dad. He was three daughters."
When Buckley is caught, he will face new charges of bail jumping, and tampering with a prison-monitoring device.
