UPDATE: Missing Laurel Co. 3-year-old girl is found
UPDATE: (3/23/18, 9:03 a.m.) — Hailie Mays has been found safe by Laurel County sheriff deputies Friday morning.
LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A father who is supposed to have only supervised visits with his young daughter is accused of illegally taking her, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say three-and-a-half year old Hailie Mays is listed as missing. They say she was taken by her father, Christopher Mays, off Ray Johnson Road, four miles north of London on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at approximately 6:10 p.m.
Mays drives a maroon Toyota Corolla with Kentucky license plate 741VEG.
Hailie Mays is 2’3,” 40-pounds, thin build, blue eyes, fair complexion, brown below shoulder length hair, according to deputies.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the child or her father is asked to contact the Laurel County Detention Center at 606-864-6600 or 606-878-7000.
