Father accused of driving while high with child in car

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police arrested a man they say was high and driving with his young son in the car.

Court documents say an officer pulled 26-year-old Nathan Davis over on Shelby Lane at 6:09 p.m. Sunday after the car he was in was observed swerving back and forth on the road with a brake light out.

When the officer approached the window, he says there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car.

Documents say Davis’ 5-year-old son was in the back seat of the car.

Davis was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence, wanton endangerment, careless driving, failure to wear a seat belt and no brake lights.
