Fate can’t stop destiny
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Coach Cal always says UK is every team’s Super Bowl.
That the opponent always plays its best game of the season against the Cats.
Based on the numbers from Saturday, it’s hard to argue Ohio State didn’t play its best possible game in Brooklyn.
OSU out-rebounded UK 42-40, created three more steals than the Cats were able to force and did it all while hitting 50 percent from three.
It was destiny. Especially when UK sent Buckeye big man Daniel Giddens to the line.
Giddens averaged just 29 percent from the charity strip before Saturday’s game…and calmly stroked two straight to seal it late (74-67 the final).
Hear from Cal in the video on when he knew it was over.
