Fatal Wreck On Georgetown Road In Lexington

Dustin Smith, 22, was killed in a car accident on Georgetown Road in Lexington on Monday morning, according to the Fayette County Coroner.

Officers said a male driver was heading toward Georgetown when he rolled his vehicle.

They said he crossed over a median and two lanes of traffic, before he drove through two fences.   Police said he almost hit a house.

The driver was ejected and died at the scene, according to police.

Police said there were no witnesses and that the accident may have happened hours before it was reported at 3 a.m.
