UPDATE: Coroner IDs woman killed in I-64 crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The transportation cabinet said it happened on the westbound side of I-64 near mile marker 73, this area is right by I-75.

Police say it was a single-vehicle crash right around 2 p.m.

The woman was the only person in the car, police say.

Fayette County Coroner identified her as Shannon DeRossett of Lexington.

The coroner said blunt force trauma was the 43-year-old’s cause of death.
