Fatal Collision In Rowan County

According to the Kentucky State Police on Tuesday at 10:06 a.m. they were notified of a single vehicle injury accident on Open Fork Road in Rowan County.

Troopers said Thomas Allen Mabry, 52 of Morehead, was driving a Ford Pickup on Open Fork Road when his vehicle left the roadway striking a concrete culvert.

The impact caused Mr. Mabry to be ejected from the vehicle. KSP said Mr. Mabry was pronounced deceased at the scene. Officials believe Mabry was not wearing a seat belt.

The accident remains under investigation.
