Farewell Mass Held For Bishop Gainer
Kentuckians held a farewell mass for Lexington Bishop Ronald Gainer Saturday morning.
The mass held at the Cathedral of Christ the King also celebrated Bishop Gainer’s 11th Anniversary of his Episcopal Ordination.
Pope Francis is transferring Bishop Gainer to the Diocese of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
He will be installed there as the 11th Bishop of Harrisburg in March.
