Fan reaction after UK wins Governor’s Cup

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – After that big win, UK fans celebrated accordingly.

We went to Tin Roof downtown to meet up with some fans.

One UK fan, who is actually from Lousiville, says this win is a reminder to everyone that Louisville will always be the little brother to Kentucky.

“It’s incredible to watch Lynn Bowden because he really steps up to help the program out. A guy who you know is playing out of position these last few weeks, he’s really come through big, running all over defenses and finding a way to get it done and getting the job done by scoring points and getting us wins,” fan said.

He said it was a really cold and wet game but it was worth it to watch the cats win against Louisville for the second straight year.
