Family seeks donations after Manchester man killed in Harlan County electrocution accident
HARLAN COUNTY, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The family of a Manchester man is asking for the community’s support following a deadly workplace accident in Harlan County.
Relatives of 19-year-old Bryson Cotton-Gim say donations are being collected to help cover funeral expenses, with all funds going directly to his parents.
As previously reported, the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office responded Tuesday morning to a job site in the Holmes Mill community.
Officials say Cotton-Gim was working from a bucket truck installing fiber cable when he suffered electrocution injuries.
The Harlan County Coroner’s Office pronounced Cotton-Gim dead at the scene.
Family members say the fundraiser is intended to help ease the financial burden as they mourn the loss of the young man.
