Family displaced by house fire
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A fire Wednesday afternoon on Bahama Road has left a family displaced, but fortunately, everyone made it out safely.
According to the Lexington Fire Department, crews were sent to 1894 Bahama Rd. around 2:32 PM for a possible structure fire. When firefighters arrived, they found the attached garage fully engulfed in flames.
The good news is that the homeowner and his dog were able to escape without injury. However, the fire caused significant damage, and the family will be displaced.
A fire investigator is currently working to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
