Family displaced after Sunday morning house fire in Lexington

Fire officials say an electrical fire broke out Sunday morning on Richmond Avenue

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Several people are without a home after an early morning fire in Lexington on Sunday.

According to the Lexington Fire Department, crews were called just after 6:30 a.m. to a house fire on Richmond Avenue.

Officials say the fire started from an electrical issue and extended to the back of the home.

No injuries were reported, but fire crews say the family will be temporarily displaced.
