Family continues searching for four-year-old in Whitley County
WHITLEY COUNTY, KY. (WTVQ) — Its been an agonizing time for the family of four-year-old Chloe Darnell who has been missing since September.
“I wanna know why there is no Amber Alert on Chloe because she is only four,” questioned Jessica Gearheart, one of Chloe’s aunt’s.
The child alongside her aunt Brittany Slaughter were reported missing.
Slaughter had been missing for a few weeks, but on Thursday night, the Whitley County Sheriff’s Office reporting that Brittany Slaughter was found unharmed, adding that four-year-old Chloe Darnell is still missing.
“I just wanna know, are you ok? Are you safe,?” adding Chloe’s cousin and aunt, Amber Lopez, who lives in Louisville.
Her family continues to question why it has taken so long to help spread awareness about Chloe’s disappearance.
“I don’t even know what to say or do like I’m in disbelief that any of this could ever happen to any of us,” added Chloe’s sister, Gabriella Manriquez.
