“We’re fairly thin offensively.”

LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – The one negative about spring football is it’s a time for players who had work done over the off-season to continue to heal.

For example, C.J. Conrad isn’t practicing this spring as he bounces back from a shoulder surgery after the season.

There’s several players getting healthy, which means the Cats are pretty thin at some positions across the field.

Coach Mark Stoops says this could possibly lead to a different style of spring game.

Possibly the number one offense versus the number one defense.

Those specifics will be worked out.

Until then, Stoops did provide some insight into how the QBs are splitting reps.
