Factory Worker Electrocuted

The Scott County coroner says a Georgetown factory worker was electrocuted early Wednesday morning.

The worker was working at Aichi Forge around 3:30AM when it happened.

The victim was taken to Georgetown Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Officials say the victim is a 44-year-old black man from Lexington. He’s worked at the factory for 14 years.

OSHA and the coroner are investigating, but say foul play is not suspected.
