Facebook Page inspiring justice for Heather Daniele Grigsby
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A grieving grandmother, more like a mother, seeking answers for the death of 28-year-old Heather Grigsby.
On Friday, April 26th, Frances Noe received the devastating call from the coroner.
Grigsby was found shot to death at the corner of Goodloe and Race Street.
“We’re all praying. Praying for justice for heather,” Noe said.
She said she raised Heather from the time she was 2 year’s old.
“If you knew heather she was real bubbly and everybody that met her liked her and the world is sad without her,” Noe said.
The family wants anyone with information to come forward and help them find her killer.
The recent passing of Savannah Spurlock inspired Heather’s family and friends to create a Facebook page called “Justice for Heather Daniele Grigsby.”
Family friend Amy Froman said, “Of course everybody knows savannah’s story and you know there are several pages out there and doing this page I’m hoping to keep this story at light and keep it moving around.”
The Facebook page was created on July 13th and already has over 150 members.
Froman says the hope is that this page can help them find answers about Heather’s murder.
“Every day you’re hearing of someone else getting shot in Lexington. There are murderer’s walking around on the streets,” Froman said.
Noe says she gets through the days remembering the good times she had with her granddaughter.
“I know that i”ve got to stay strong because I’m going to see that something is done. Heather didn’t die in vain. Somebody’s going to pay for it,” Noe said.
Willing to wait for answers… No matter how long it takes.
