Ezel man arrested in child abuse case

EZEL, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Morgan County man was arrested Monday afternoon in connection to a child abuse case, according to State Police.

Investigators say 39-year old Arthur Hounshell, of Ezel, was charged with one count of Criminal Abuse 1st Degree, Child under 12, after it was discovered a young girl had received injuries to her body.

State Police did not release any other details about the reported abuse.

Hounshell was lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Jail in Paintsville.
