Expect to hear sirens in Richmond during training exercise

RICHMOND, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Officials will be testing the Madison County siren system during an emergency response chemical incident training at the Blue Grass Army Depot at 9 Wednesday morning.

Officials say people in the county should expect to hear sirens, including those near the Blue Grass Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant. That is where the last stored stockpile of chemical weapons was destroyed last year.
