Eureka Recalls Durra Ground Cinnamon Over Lead Contamination

(ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Eureka Incorporated has issued a recall for its “Durra Ground Cinnamon” packaged in 100-gram plastic containers.

The FDA warns that the product may be contaminated with lead. While no related illnesses have been reported, extended exposure to lead can cause serious health issues. The cinnamon was sold in California and Michigan from late August through early October.

Consumers are advised to check the FDA website for more information and guidance on returning or disposing of the product.
