Estill County Emergency Management continues to receive damage reports
ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Estill County’s Emergency Management Agency says it continues to receive reports of damaged homes after last week’s severe storms.
The Agency also asks that people who live in the county continue to make damage reports. The Agency says all damage must be documented no matter how minor. To make a report call the Agency’s office at 723-6533.
If you would like to make a donation to assist people in Estill County you can bring items to Helping Hands Outreach on Main Street in Ravenna Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 11am-1 pm and 5pm-7pm.
Emergency Management says people are in need of disposable plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery as well as totes and tarps. The EMA says people also need grocery cards so they can buy refrigerated food. The Agency says it does not need any more water or clothing donations.
People are also in need of cleaning items, particularly mops, brooms, buckets, laundry detergent, dish soap, and window cleaner.
The EMA says clean up teams will continue to help people remove debris. If you need help removing debris, you can call 723-6533 or send the EMA a Facebook message.
If you’d like to volunteer with a clean-up crew, you can register at the Estill County Fair Barn between 9:30am and 2:00pm.
