Enjoy a screen free week
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The "Campaign for a Commercial Free Childhood" has declared this "screen-free week" in an effort to make kids more productive and healthier.
Organizers of the campaign are encouraging families to go without watching TV, using the computer, or playing video games as much as they can. They suggest spending time with other people face-to-face.
Their website had a list of things you can do to fill the time you normally spend in front of a screen. The list includes write a letter, paint a picture, make cookies, play tag, make a fort, have a dance party, and visit the zoo.
