Commercial Production Manager:WTVQ-TV is looking for a creative and capable Commercial Production Manager with the drive to create and the imagination needed to produce visually innovative commercials and news image and topical spots. Candidate must possess very strong graphic design composition skills, must be comfortable with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, MS Office. Ideal candidate must be able to shoot, write, and edit compelling television advertisements while working closely with clients, account executives, and other commercial producers. Will also manage two commercial production producers. Candidates must be detail-oriented, able work to well under pressure, meet deadlines, able to juggle multiple projects and lift up to 50lbs. Ideal candidate must be able to shoot, write, and edit compelling television advertisements while working closely with clients, account executives, and other commercial producers. Producer: WTVQ-TV ABC 36 Lexington seeks a creative writer to join our team as a full-time news producer. Candidate should have a minimum of 1-year news producing experience in television or equivalent. Creative writing skills and the ability to produce an action-packed newscast are a must! Local Sales & Marketing Consultant: ABC Affiliate WTVQ-TV in Lexington KY is hiring for an entry-level Sales and Marketing Consultant. Candidates must have good communication, people, organizational & time management skills. Successful candidate will be a self-starter motivated by personal goals as well as company objectives. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, developing new local direct business and selling full-service digital marketing programs. Production Tech: Responsible for operation of studio cameras for the newscasts and various shows and promotion production. Additional Responsibilities include set lighting, teleprompter operation, tape machine operation for promos and commercials, and cross-training in Chyron and the audio board. This person must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to climb ladders, build, paint, and erect television production sets.
