Employee Accused Of Trying To Set Fire
An employee at one Lexington hotel is accused of trying to start a fire in the kitchen.
Police said the employee at the Crowne Plaza-Campbell House on South Broadway got upset and sprayed something from an aerosol container into a stove in the kitchen.
They said he then proceeded to throw flour on top of the stove to try and start a fire.
Another employee chased him out and into the parking lot where they said the suspect then tried to run over his co-worker with a car.
Police said they expect to make an arrest soon in the case and that the man faces arson charges..
