Emergency landing at Blue Grass Airport delays flights
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A private plane’s engine failure caused some problems today at Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport.
The airport says a plane took off, flew about 200 feet, then lost power and had to land. Some arrivals and departures had to be postponed while it was stuck on the runway.
According to the airport, a public safety response team was called to the scene. There were no reported injuries.
The airport says the plane was moved about 90 minutes later, and all flights were eventually able to get back on track.
