Elliott County woman injured in rollover crash

SANDY HOOK, Ky. (WTVQ) – An Elliott County woman was injured Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash, according to State Police. Investigators say 34-year old Sarah Ison, of Sandy Hook, was driving east on KY 486 in Elliott County when her 2006 Kia Sorrento dropped off the shoulder and overturned in a ditch.

Investigators say Ison was ejected from her vehicle. She was airlifted to Cabell Hunting Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia, where she was listed in stable condition, according to KSP.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by State Police.
