Police investigate after electronics, cash stolen in Lexington home invasion

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police are investigating after a home invasion Friday morning on Devonport Drive.

Officers say at about 10:15 a.m., a woman reported that she had opened her door to two men.  The men reportedly spoke to her, then pulled out handguns and forced their way into her home.

Police say the men ended up stealing electronics and case before leaving.

Investigators say they aren’t sure if the men drove off, and say that a K9 unit was unable to track the suspects.

The men are described as being in their late teens-early twenties, short, and wearing dark clothing, according to officers.

No injuries were reported.
