Elderly woman killed in two-vehicle collision in Morehead

MOREHEAD, Ky. (WTVQ) – An elderly woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Morehead.

Investigators say it happened just before 4:30 p.m. on Flemingsburg Road, in front of the Walmart.

The Rowan County coroner identified the victim as 77-year old Priscilla Blair.

Investigators say she was a passenger in a car driven by her husband, Roy Blair.  He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to investigators.

The coroner says the Blair’s were turning into the Walmart parking lot when their car collided with a truck that was headed inbound toward Morehead.

The truck’s driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to investigators.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
