EKU votes in new student fee
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Students at Eastern Kentucky University will see a new $150 fee taking effect this fall.
The student senate gave overwhelming approval to enact the fee during a special session Friday. The fee would be paid by students each semester.
The money will be used to build a much larger recreation center and to renovate the student union.
The fee is expected to stay in place for the next 20 years.
