EKU undefeated vs. Ball State

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – EKU heads to Ball State Saturday.

The Colonels have never lost to the Cardinals.  Eastern sits at 3-0 in the all-time series…all three meetings taking place between 1967-1970.

All three contests have been decided by two scores or less.

State lost 30-20 at Indiana last weekend.  EKU took care of NAIA UPike 55-14, but started off sluggish as you can see in the video, before getting some great defensive efforts and defensive touchdowns to pull away in the Thursday night win.

Which is why head coach Mark Elder is preaching the need for a better start to his players.
