EKU student accused of sexual abuse

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – An Eastern Kentucky University is under arrest, charged with sexual abuse and unlawful imprisonment for an incident that happened on campus last week.

According to the Richmond Register, a woman told EKU Police that she and 18-year-old Keysean Alford, of Homestead, Florida, were at her dorm drinking alcohol and hanging out on Friday.

The newspaper says the victim told police Alford grabbed her forcefully near the residence hall elevators and tried to pull her into a lounge area, telling her, “I know you want it” when she told him to stop.

The Richmond Register says Alford admitted to police he had physical contact with the victim, that she had told him to stop three times and he had “held her” for three to four minutes, also stating his behavior was inappropriate.

Alford was booked into the Madison County Detention Center.
