EKU “move-in days” Wednesday and Thursday

Richmond, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Eastern Kentucky University is gearing up for the arrival of its newest students as Freshman Move-In Day kicks off Wednesday. The university has announced that the incoming Class of 2028 will begin moving into dorm rooms on Wednesday and continue through Thursday.

EKU officials are anticipating another record-breaking year for freshman enrollment, with nearly a 30% increase in incoming students since 2020. The university credits this growth to its expanding programs and ongoing commitment to student success.

Classes for the fall semester are set to begin next Monday, marking the start of a new chapter for the incoming freshmen.
