EF-0 tornado damage in Flemingsburg

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – An EF-0 tornado caused damage two miles north of Flemingsburg, reported the National Weather Service. They said they will soon be releasing more information on the damage along Highway 11 in that area.

According to the Storm Prediction Center, the Enhanced Fujita (EF) scale, measures how powerful a tornado was, based on the damage it caused to the area.

An EF-0 tornado produces minor or no destruction, according to the definition, with possible damage to siding or gutters, broken branches, or shallow-rooted trees pushed over.
