Ed Lane, founder and publisher of The Lane Report, and LFUCG Council Member Passes
After a 2-year battle with cancer, a well known Lexington Urban County Council Member and local publisher has died.
Edwin "Ed" Green Lane, was a long-time commercial real estate broker, and started the "Lane Report" magazine 30-years ago.
He served on numerous business, government, arts, and civic boards.
According to the Lane Report, he died on Sunday. They say his daughters were with him when he passed away.
A celebration of life will be held at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Road.
