East Bernstadt Man Arrested At Ex-Wife’s Home

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said John E. Osborne, 51, of East Bernstadt, was arrested in the wee hours of Thursday morning at his ex-wife’s home.

Investigators said Osborne was trying to kick-in the front door of his former wife’s house on Haley Ridge Road, about 4-miles north of London.

Investigators said they found Osborne hiding behind a trailer hitch at the house.

Investigators said Osborne told them he was trying to get into his ex-wife’s home to try to get her to take him back.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said Osborne was charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place.

Osborne was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
