Early morning shooting on Hillcrest Ave in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A woman was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting early Friday morning, according to police.

The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Hillcrest Avenue. That’s near Highland Avenue. Officers are currently searching for a suspect.
