Eagles win fourth OVC Tournament Title

LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – On Sunday, Morehead State faced off against Tennessee Tech with an OVC Tournament title on the line as well as a trip to the NCAA tournament.

MSU paced out to an early three-run lead, but a three-run homer by the Golden Eagles’ Trevor Putzig in the 5th inning tied the ball game.

In the 9th, legend of Niko Hulsizer grew even more.

Hulsizer had a solo homerun to make it 4-3.

That would be the final score.

Morehead State wins their fourth OVC Tournament title as well as punches their ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
