Dylan Rock earns Atlantic League Player of Month honors
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington Legends outfielder Dylan Rock has been named the Atlantic League Player of the Month for June 2025, after he tied a pro baseball record by hitting home runs in eight consecutive games.
The streak started on June 18 with a clutch homer in the 9th inning against the Gastonia Ghost Peppers and ended on June 27 versus the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Only three MLB players in history have hit home runs in eight games in a row.
In June, Rock hit .315 with a league-best 11 home runs, 21 RBIs, and seven stolen bases.
